Why should I donate to BLOODSA?

  • Your donation helps us improve the quality of care for patients with blood and bone marrow disorders across Africa. As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on generous contributions to fund our work and make a real difference.

How does my donation contribute to BLOODSA’s mission?

  • Your support helps fund research, provide training for healthcare professionals, and develop resources for patients. Every cent goes toward advancing haematology and improving lives.

Are my donations tax-deductible?

  • As a registered not-for-profit organisation (NPO) and public benefit organisation (PBO). On request, we will provide a Section 18A tax certificate.

How secure is my online donation?

  • Your donation is safe with us. We use trusted, secure third-party platforms to process all payments.

Can I make a recurring donation?

  • Definitely! We currently offer one-time donation options, but if you’d like to set up a recurring donation, email us at admin@bloodsa.org.za, and we’ll help make it happen.

How can I see the impact of my donation?

  • We share regular updates on our website and other online platforms so you can see the difference your generosity makes.

Can I specify where my donation is used?

  • Yes, you can! If you’d like your contribution to go to a specific program, drop us an email at admin@bloodsa.org.za, and we’ll work with you.

Will I receive a donation confirmation or receipt?

  • Absolutely! You’ll get an email to thank you for your support, and we can also provide a Section 18A tax certificate if needed.

Are there other ways to support BLOODSA besides donating money?

  • For sure! You can raise awareness, volunteer, or even register as a stem cell donor or blood donor. If you’ve got other ideas, let us know at admin@bloodsa.org.za. We’d love to hear from you!

How is BLOODSA funded besides donations?

  • We’re powered by a mix of public donations, partnerships, and grants. Check out our website to learn more about the amazing partners supporting us.

Who benefits directly from my donation?

  • Your contribution supports initiatives that improve the care and quality of life for patients with blood disorders across Africa. Together, we’re making a difference in haematology!
