Modeling global transfusion medicine education

The availability and accessibility of safe and efficacious blood and blood components is an essential part of any healthcare system.

In this international collaboration, the authors provide a framework that countries and institutions can use to develop and improve training in transfusion medicine. We congratulate our local authors Professor Vernon J Louw, Dr Vanitha Rambiritch, Varsha Seoraj, Karin van den Berg, Marion Vermeulen and Claire A Barrett on an excellent publication.
