The Plainsman newspaper has recently reported an inspirational story about Diego, a teen cancer fighter from Rocklands in Cape town. He has a rare form of cancer called Peripheral T cell lymphoma and has recently received a bone marrow (stem cell) transplant donated by his 17 year old sister, Ella. This article highlights his bravery in fighting this disease and brings our awareness to the early warning signs of cancers like lymphoma.
